What is the process of cermet?

The first step: matrix pretreatment. Polish the pressureless sintered ceramic with diamond abrasive paste to ensure that the surface roughness is less than or equal to 1.6 μm, put the substrate in acetone alcohol, and ultrasonically clean it at room temperature for 20 minutes.


Step 2: Preparation of metal paste. The raw materials are weighed according to the metal formula, and after ball milling for a period of time, a metal slurry with a certain viscosity is made.


Step 3: Paint. dry. The paste is applied on the ceramic substrate using screen printing technology. The thickness of the paste is suitable. The solder material is too thin and tends to flow into the metal layer. Too thick is not conducive to the migration of ingredients, and then dry the slurry matrix in.


The fourth step: heat treatment. The dried substrate is placed in a reducing atmosphere and sintered to form a metal layer.
