1. White steel milling cutter: also known as high-speed steel, with soft hardness. The hot hardness of high-speed steel milling cutters is about 600 degrees. When using white steel to mill hard materials, if the coolant is not in place, it is easy to burn the tool, which is one of the reasons for the low thermal hardness.
2. Carbide milling cutter: It has a series of excellent properties such as good hot hardness, strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. It also remained unchanged at 500 degrees high temperature.
3. Ceramic milling cutter: Also known as oxidation milling cutter, it has high hardness, heat resistance of 1200 degrees, and high compressive strength, but it is too brittle, the strength is not high, and the cutting amount cannot be too large. Therefore, it is more suitable for finishing or other highly wear-resistant non-metallic processed products.
4. Ultra-hard material milling cutter: Whether it is hardness, wear resistance or heat resistance, the toughness is sufficient, and the temperature can reach 2000 degrees. Due to the high brittleness and low strength, it is more suitable for finishing.
